The Kyndryl Mirror was designed to do more than attract attention—it was built to create reflection, literally and strategically.
At the center of the experience stood an 8-foot mirrored monolith: sleek, architectural, and impossible to ignore. But this wasn’t just a booth attraction—it was a conversation engine. Designed as an awareness-driving engagement for audiences less familiar with Kyndryl, the Mirror transformed passive attendees into active participants by inviting them to see themselves inside Kyndryl’s story.
Inspired by the Unlock Your Inside Edge™ campaign, the experience used reflection as both a visual metaphor and an interaction model. Attendees were guided through a personalized journey of prompts focused on AI readiness, Future Ready Apps, and Cyber Risk—encouraging them to assess their current technology landscape while uncovering where Kyndryl could create their competitive edge.
Behind the seamless touch-sensitive, dielectric mirrored surface, a 65” 4K interactive display delivered dynamic storytelling, motion graphics, and personalized pathways that responded in real time. Every interaction was intentionally designed to feel elevated, intuitive, and deeply personal—turning curiosity into meaningful engagement.
But the Mirror’s true power lived beyond the event.
Each participant received a tailored follow-up report based on their responses, extending the experience post-event while giving Kyndryl’s subject matter experts immediate context for deeper conversations. A coded lead management system enabled event staff to quickly assess readiness levels and align follow-up strategies with precision—bridging brand storytelling directly to sales enablement.
From wireframes and content strategy to visual storyboards, motion design, and physical experience architecture, every touchpoint was crafted to align strategy with storytelling. The result was an experience that didn’t just drive trade show booth traffic—it created resonance, relevance, and measurable business value.
The Kyndryl Mirror is a perfect example of experiential design at its best: when strategic insight, creative storytelling, and intelligent technology come together to create something people don’t just visit—they remember.
